I sent a letter of complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria regarding the sale of these plates.
I received a response form them on the 21/03/07.
It stated:
"Following an assessment of your complaint it has been determined the matter is not appropriate to conciliate for the following reasons:
* 'The Customised Registration Plate Applications and Agreement' clearly states that the application is not accepted unless and until VicRoads has issued the plates to you."
'What a cop-out' I thought! How can an organisation take your money, issue you with a reciept and then still have the ability to say get away with not supplying a customer with their goods?
